Call for Submissions | Backyard Mobile Photography show as part of Head On Photo Festival

Oliver Lang and I have recently launched Mobile Photo Network - a site dedicated to quality mobile photography. As part of the launch we've partnered with Head On Photo Festival to bring the first ever curated mobile photography show - BACKYARD - to the festival.
Here are the details of the BACKYARD Mobile Photography open call:
"Head on Photo Festival In partnership with Mobile Photo Network (MPN) are inviting photographers from all around the world to submit mobile phone photographs on the theme of Backyard.
What’s in your backyard? A place to relax, to plant and grow, to play, to toil; pleasure, leisure, hobby, home; local sights and the best-kept neighbourhood secrets; on your doorstop, just outside, round the corner, right in your backyard.
Mobile photography has enabled us to share our once private homes and backyards with the rest of the world. Through connected technology and social media we can now invite people to come over, to join us, to see how we live.
The exhibition will be held in the Superintendent’s Residence, located in the sprawling grounds of Centennial Park – Sydney’s shared backyard.
The theme is open to interpretation. Photographers can submit up to five photos for consideration. Judges will be looking for both strong individual images and sets of photos related to the theme. Thirty photographs will be chosen for the exhibition.
Submissions will be judges by a panel of photographers and curators including:
- Head On Photo Festival Director Moshe Rosenzveig
- MPN founders and mobile photographers Oliver Lang and Misho Baranovic
- Sydney-based fine art photographer Garry Trinh.
