Here is a list of my upcoming events and workshops:
I'll conducting a two hour workshop on mobile photography for the Monash Photo Club. I'll be doing a live demonstration of how I shoot and edit my images. I'll also be showing my favourite images from mobile photographers all around the world. The event starts at 5PM and is free for MPC members and $10 for non-members.
More details available here.
I will be running an experimental mobile photography workshop for the Monash Gallery of Art as part of their Photographic Abstractions Exhibition running throughout August and September. I'll be doing hands on demonstration of shooting and editing apps. There will also be a photowalk in the nearby sculpture garden.
The workshop costs $25 for non MGA members.
More details available at the MGA website.
A quick recap of the first ever EyeEm Melbourne Meetup. Despite the chilly weather, 13 people turned up to Federation Square to join in the Photowalk.
After some introductions and group photos, we headed off on our walk. On the way, we stopped off at the iconic Flinders St. Station, strolled through the cosy and warm laneways and got very hungry wandering through Chinatown. We were even treated to an impromptu dance rehearsal in a hotel lobby.
As we walked, people shared shooting and app tips. I even learnt about a few new editing apps. Our last stop was N’Satay bar where we were able to sit down, grab a few drinks and look through the photos we’d taken. All in all, it was an awesome afternoon and I’m looking forward to the next one.
Here is the official EyeEm Album of the meet-up:
I was the guest judge for the Mobile Photography episode of ABC TV's Photo Finish program. It was a great experience to be able to share my skills with the three contestants, who did an awesome job under very challenging circumstances. Congratulations to Arneka for taking the winning shot out in Kings Cross.

Thank you everyone for watching yesterday's first every MPG Live Broadcast, and for asking such fantastic questions! If you missed it, you can watch the recorded broadcast below. We would love your feedback on the broadcast or any suggestions on what you would like us to talk about next.
Thanks to the guys at EyeEm for an incredible masterclass. I really enjoyed doing the live demonstration and photowalk with the 20+ participants. They were both talented, enthusiastic and supportive of each others vision. I can't wait to do it all again. Till next time.
